A therapist will guide you through a meditation; allowing your mind to relax. To increase your relaxation, your therapist will incorporate a light, relaxing neck massage.

Reiki by Holistic Touch
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by 'laying on hands' and is based on the idea that an unseen 'life force energy' flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's 'life force energy' is low, then we get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

There are 7 main energy centers in the body, known as chakras. Each chakra is located throughout our body so that is correlates to specific body ailment and physical dysfunctions; each energy center also houses our mental and emotional strengths. When we have a physical issue, it can create weakness in our emotional behavior.
A therapist will help you balance your chakras which tends to bring more peace and harmony; a balance of mind and body.
